Andrew's Story

Andrew Michael Levinson was born on September 16, 1987, in New York, NY. He passed away on September 17, 2015, in Plainview, NY.

Andrew was a lifelong advocate for people with disabilities. He was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy as a child. His life experiences with this disease gave Andrew a unique and important perspective on living with extraordinary challenges. These experiences made him a tremendously compassionate activist for people who experienced physical, economic, and cultural bias.

Legacy was very important to Andrew. The Andrew Michael Levinson Memorial Scholarship Fund will award scholarships in Andrew's name for individuals with physical challenges who seek to educate themselves in order to make the world a more inclusive place.

Your contribution will help support Andrew’s dream of helping others.
